A week or so after your order ships, an auto-email goes out asking for your feedback. Over five years of business we've racked up quite a few.

(Note: Many of the reviews below use our old company name "Cassettes2CDs," which we changed to "Reclaim Media" in Nov 2007.)

They provide what I demanded: careful handling of my rare old albums, and attention to detail when it comes to high-quality audio reproduction. I was informed by e-mail of the progress made, but it was a bit of overkill :) A received and shipped e-mail would be enough for me. "I was very pleased with the service. Like others, I didnt know what to expect, but the past reviews were generally very positive so I decided to take a chance. In any case, I had no other way to listen to my records. Thank you for doing such a great job. I bought the whole collection of my favorite group on eBay and used this service to convert albums to MP3 that I could not get on CD. The service was easy. I purchased the 10 LP box for $129; it was delivered to my house; I packed it up; dropped it off at the UPS store; and got it back quickly. Emails arrived as described. The only thing that is a drawback, but it is not the fault of the merchant, is that some of my records had been used quite a bit. Therefore, there was some crackling in the MP3s, but considering the records were nearly 35 yers old, it wasnt too bad. And this was only for some of the records. All in all, great service. Thanks for letting me relive old memories through music I never thought I would hear again! I will use this merchant again."

"I was somewhat apprehensive about using this service as the album I sent was irreplaceable. However, I read previous reviews and decided to give them a try and I am so glad that I did. "Most on-line companies dont answer questions personally. I e-mailed Cassettes2CDs with a question and my phone number. They called me back the same day and explained in detail the answers to my questions. Consumer Reports says that for a service like this you can expect to pay between $6 and $12 per tape. This company charges on the lower end of that spectrum, which shows me that they are fair about their pricing. If you need to convert tapes to a digital format, Cassettes2CDs is the way to go."

"These guys are great. I had first sent my group of cassettes to another company that professed to have the best speed, customer service and pricing. My order sat with them for at least three weeks before I got an e-mail stating they hadnt started my order due to staffing issues. When I got my order back more than a couple weeks later, they hadnt even done the transfers! No explanation, but my guess is that since the majority of my order was home-made cassettes 90 to 110 minutes in length (mostly a compilation of vinyl and other cassettes I own) that they didnt want to hassle with it. I immediately turned around and sent these out to Cassettes2CDs and had everything back to me as advertised within two weeks! The daily status updates as your order is worked on by them is great too."

I was able to get some old school records not available on CD converted to digital files so that I could take them anywhere I want to go.
