The "pops" and "crackle" that you hear when playing a record aren't actually the record at all, but tiny little bits of dirt and dust that act as "speed bumps" for the needle.

We have these Loricraft record cleaning machines because they, with the help of our digital click and pop reduction algorithm, take care of that. A piece of cotton thread, wetted with a special cleaning chemical, runs down every groove, sucking up the dirt with a vacuum. It's really something.
