CD/DVD Ripping

We've worked with four different CD ripping services so far -- Moondog Digital, RipStyles, Ready To Play and Pickled Productions -- each of which we can vouche for.

They're all good and all different, so if you need to convert a pile of CDs to MP3 (or WAV or FLAC or whatever) or DVDs to your fancy video server, check them all out and go with the one that feels best to you.

When it comes to getting your cassettes and records to us, we always recommend that people just take them un-boxed to the UPS Store or Fedex-Kinkos, whichever's closer. They have all the boxes and bubble wrap and everything right there, and will pack them up for you, no muss no fuss. It's worth the money. Just please make sure you put your name somewhere on the box, because when we find packages with a return label of "UPS Store #194", that doesn't tell us who placed the order on our website.

Some people still want to do their own packing though, especially for vinyl records. For them, Bags Unlimited has a bunch of special-purpose boxes and other packing supplies specifically for vinyl records.
