 Getting Your CDs and MP3s into iTunes

The CDs that we create from your tapes and records will import into iTunes just like you'd expect with any other audio CD.

MP3 files, on the other hand, come on data discs (CDs or DVDs), so the "Import CD" button won't work. Instead, here's what you do:

Windows:

  • Start the iTunes program.
  • Edit -> Preferences.
  • "Advanced" tab.
  • Check the box "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library."
  • Load the data DVD we made into your computer and drag the files from Windows Explorer into your iTunes playlist.

Mac:

  • Start the iTunes program.
  • iTunes -> Preferences...
  • "Advanced" tab.
  • Check the box "Copy files to iTunes Music folder when adding to library."
  • Load the data DVD we made into your computer and drag the files from Finder into your iTunes playlist.

That's it! Now you can play our audio on your computer and iPod, just like that.
